I liked her as Granny in The Beverly Hillibillies movie.

In a related story, Mary Tyler Moore was on Letterman the other night talking about the enormity of Ed Asner's cock.

Imagine: I woke up Monday not knowing a thing about Ed Asner's junk. Now I feel like an expert.

Cloris Leachman was hilarious a few years ago as the crazed, Eastern European grandmother of "Malcom in the Middle," who didn't think his bookishness would be of any assistance when the Nazis came for him in the middle of the night.

Anyone seen this bit online....I can't imagine MTM going there and I'd love to see it.

I've got one of the MTM Show seasons on DVD, and Ed does the commentary for one of the episodes. During a scene in which Mary is wearing one of her tight sweaters, an 80-something Ed blurts out, "I never realized Mary was that busty."

    Also applaud the line. From....

Lou Grant to Mary Richards in her job interview.

"You've got Spunk. I HATE Spunk!!"

Also in the scene. "What's your religion?"

"Mr Grant. It's against the law for you to ask me that."

    "Wanna call a cop?"

  11. This is a prime example of why I believe the less a (famous) person says or writes about themseves the better, i.e. the more respect I have for them.
