Spoke on Mike & Mike in the Morning and was pretty critical about the new book coming out.

Proving perjury is pretty difficult. If and when the feds drop the case against Bonds, they'll probably decide to save the trouble and pass on a Clemens indictment.

The difference between the Bonds case and Clemens case is that in Bonds the only guy who could contradict Bonds has refused to testify. Thus its at least plausible that Bonds walks. With Clemens, you have Pettitte and McNamara directly contradicting Clemens. That's more likely to result in a perjury conviction.

Clemens has reached Pete Rose territory, where pretty much anything he says can safely be presumed to be a lie.

And you know, if your stepdad had a disease, well you better watch out too because you could inherit that disease.......um wait, you can't can you?

Just the latest in the burgeoning collection of born liars who are part and parcel of the Yankee Pinstripe Parade . . .

Until it's time to write his own book, of course: "No, Wait, I Did Take Copious Amounts Of Steroids."

Did he deny use... or just that McNamee injected him?
