Peter Gammons is reporting that Roger Clemens told a girl's school's junior class assembly that he's a naughty boy and needs to be spanked.

  2. Shouldn't we have had a Suzyn Waldman appearance by now?

Just me, or was that a nice little dig at the Houston Chronicle in there?

  10. "Clemens said in a statement handed to the Houston Chronicle, a favorite outlet for Clemens and his lawyer Rusty Hardin."

    That is a nice dig.

Mistakes were made. Women were penetrated. Youthful indiscretion, etc.

    Let's move on.

Can someone explain why Roger Clemens cheating on his wife is anyone's business and why we care and why he has to apologize for it?

The only one who should care is Mrs. Clemens.

And if the sports pages begin to pursue stories about the infidelity and/or sexual exploits of athletes, we might as well all go try to sell life insurance or something because newspapers are already dead and we don't even know it......
