Damn this was one hell of an educated response.

Travis tweeted about the other guy in the interview, the one on the left side of the screen who was blinkingly thrown by the unexpected "boobs" reference:

There's always been an increasing amount of porn available, which had never stopped men's general evolution toward respectful treatment of women. This has everything to do with a coarse, crass, sexist president who has indicated to the anti-"political correctness" crowd it's now ok to speak to women in degrading ways.

Shock jocks pre-date the current president by several decades.

Perhaps, but the existence of it is not the same as the legitimization of it.

How is Clay Travis any more legitimized in 2017 than Howard Stern was in 1997 (when Paramount distributed an Ivan Reitman produced bio-pic), or Jim Rome was in 1994 when he mocked Jim Everett on ESPN2?

I don't know anyone who hasn't said that was Travis did was juvenile.

There seem to be two takes, that both start with the premise that it was juvenile.

As usual, the folks who are in full freak out mode think the folks mocking them for their response are supporting Travis' behavior.

The Travis comment, if you take it seriously (which you shouldn't), should lead you to ask: Are there boob agnostics?

You're talking about the specific. I'm talking about the generality that the "leader of the free world" has declared war on civility.

Exactly. I believe in boobs? It's not like he said he believes in UFOs. The existence of one is rather easy to prove.

Too soon to see if Travis has been legitimized by this. It was interesting to see Fox disassociate itself forcefully.

    Let's assume that's true for a momment.

How does that manifest itself in this incident?

Does he not say boobs on CNN if Hillary Clinton had won?

Honestly, not every instance of incivility can be blamed on Trump. Maybe Trump reflects our incivility. That doesn't mean he inspires every example of it.
