    Guys, that was fucking funny.

And I'm guessing Internet Explorer just got promoted to an NBA beat or something that's given him a big ego. Just a hunch.

So does this make him an "effing stud" or not?

We here at Rockbottom Enterprises, Inc., are proud to announce that KYLE VEAZEY has accepted the job covering Mississippi State at the Jackson Clarion-Ledger.

Veazey, an effin stud of sorts, has cut his teeth most recently on the Alabama beat for The Decatur Daily. Previously, Sir Veazey was a five-star intern at the Birmingham News. A graduate of Ole Miss, Veazey hails from Paris, Tenn.

    Ladies and gentlemen, Kyle Veazey.

    Sorry to post pad ...

Obviously, I would think this opens up the Alabama gig for the Decatur Daily. SE there is Mark Edwards. Whomever is their hire wades into a considerable maw left by Veazey's mid-season bolting -- not to mention the formidable competition from points south and east.

May I suggest Paul Beaudry for the Decatur job -- that is, unless he wants to turn up his nose at EVERY opportunity in his current state of residence.

Congrats to Kyle. Good move for him.

As for the Decatur job, it's a good gig if you can get it. Last three Alabama writers have moved on to bigger papers.

I've known Kyle since his days at the Daily Mississippian in Oxford.

Hard worker, great guy, good writer, um, well ... (I've taken a vow to leave my "deranged" politics off the jobs board.)

It's an outstanding move for Kyle, and an exceptional move by Rusty.

(And hey, Kyle, Starkvegas ain't that bad ... they got "The Junction" now, and while it ain't the fabled Grove -- no embellishments necessary -- we are talkin' about Mississippi, uh, scenery ...)

Fight the power, Kyle. Rock on mi amigo.

(Incidentally, that's an awesome picture, Hoops.)

Kudos to Kyle for landing the mississippi state beat.
Although he's no effin stud on the golf course, (and he's no paul beaudry, who now is wasting his life away taking volleyball gamers on the phone, either), young kyle will do an admirable job in starkvegas.
The question i have is, how many ways can he write that the Bulldogs suck?
so much for ever getting a quality bowl trip again, Kyle.

Something wrong with going to Oxford for the Egg Bowl?
