Interesting that the comments have been closed. A pre-emptive strike or a reaction to what was posted?

Northern Colorado's football team thinks this is fucked up.

Jail is still probably preferable to the rat line at The Citadel or VMI.

According to the story, the assistant coach is actually a guy who played there, but retired in 2006 because of injury.

It's a little different, in my opinion, to know that the assistant is in his early-20s as opposed to mid-40s or so.

Well, c'mon Mac, it is obvious -- the older you are the more of a sympathetic figure you become when some two-bit thug kidnaps, assaults and robs you at gunpoint..... ::)

Is holding up your coach an NCAA violation?

Probably, if it means more than 20 hours of contact in a week.
