I've heard a lot about Cincinnati Chili.

    Spaghetti with chili on top.

Tonight, I try it for the first time.

Complete with a frozen mug of beer. (1 liter size.)

    Anyone had it?

    Thoughts?

There also is cinnamon in the chili, I think.

Different taste, but not for me.

It's a little more than just Hormel over Ronzoni. The chili is on the sweet side, always with chocolate (which in my opinion should always be in chili) and usually with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and other sweet-note spices.

But it's not bad. A little weird to have beans and pasta together, but to each his own.

    SKYLINE FTW!

Yeah, it's not just chili over spaghetti. There's something in the chili, plus cheese. That's the three-way.

Onions and something else in the five-way.

    Best.

Red beans is the fifth part of the Skyline 5-way.

    Mmm Skyline.

    Just finished a massive plate.

    Good Heavens.

Also heard that you could add 2 over-medium eggs over the top of the chili as well.

Heaven in a bowl. First runner up is Skyline coneys. And eggs have no business being in the conversation.

Food fact of the day: the city of Cincinnati accounts for more sales of mini York peppermint patties than any other city. Every chili parlor has a box at the checkout counter so for your chili/onion breath.

Hard Times Cafe Fritos Chili Pie. A bowl of Fitos covered in Chili, tomatoes, cheddar and sour cream.

A bucket of rocks (Rolling Rock) on the side.
