Blame those with cottages on the 1,000 Lakes. That's the real reason.

Wouldn't that be... I dunno... redundant?

And here's a picture of the sheet of ice in question:

If you wanna get that chunk of ice off of there just have Rulon Gardner walk by.

Are we sure it's ice and not a result of cheap Canadian construction? ;D

I hate we didn't get to ride up to the top of that tower when in Toronto for the SportsJournalists.com outing -- but it was so gosh-darn expensive.

Bet they jacked up the price to see the ice.

Don't worry. I grew up in the province. I had friends who lived mere blocks from the thing. I've stood at the foot of the tower and I've NEVER been up it.

Nor have I watched a baseball game in Toronto, but I've been to 11 different MLB parks.

Yeah, but you should make it up there if you get a chance. I never think to go up there when I'm with family or local friends, but I take people from out of town there whenever I can. It's very impressive on a clear day/night. Worth the $25? Maybe not, but do it anyway.

Lived in TO since they built the thing and been up all of twice--and didn't pay either time.

But on a clear day you can see Niagara Falls--whoopee. :)

Lived in the Toronto area my whole life. Stood next to the CN Tower and walked past it hundreds of times. Been up it once, when my cousin was visiting from England a few years ago. I'm not good with heights and I have no interest in looking through that glass-bottom floor again.
