Aprapos of nothing: the bar graph for the poll is now showing us the middle finger.

Yup. I wouldn't But none of us are you. [/CaptainObvious]

Me? I listen to the opening lines of Genesis' "Blood on the Rooftops"

"Dark and grey, an English film, the Wednesday play
We always watch the queen on Christmas Day
    Won't you stay?"

It's enough to get me into the holiday spirit. :p :D

Personally, I think Christmas music shouldn't be played until about Christmas Eve and promptly finished at the end of Christmas Day. Anything else is FAR too much. Except for The Little Drummer Boy. :)

'Adeste Fidelis' and 'We Three Kings' = good Crhistmas music
All the rest = bad Christmas music
And if you willingly listen to Maurice Chevalier singing 'Joly Old St. Nicholas,' you are the devil.

FWIW, if he isn't listening to the Chipmunks sing Jingle Bells, he's listening to Barry Manilow.

"Carol of the Bells" is the greatest Christmas song ever. End of discussion.

I really like the Winter Solstice CDs, which have a lot of Christmas music, but no words. I sometimes even play them before Thanksgiving.

Hmmmm. Time to start planning the annual Moddy Christmas CD - one of SportsJournalists.com's best things ever even if I do say so myself.

As a kid, I could never decide which one was my favorite tape to listen to - A Chipmunks Christmas or a Cabbage Patch Doll Christmas!

Edit: Oh, and wait till AFTER Thanksgiving!

I wait until Thanksgiving. You have to clear one holiday before advancing to the next.

That said, I am looking forward to updating my Christmas CD this month.

Correct answer: Never listen to Christmas music.

    Problem solved! :D

  12. As soon as the dishes are cleared away on Thanksgiving, it's Vince Guaraldi time, baby.
