I thought it's time to start a thread about Xmas music. On this thread, I would like to know from everybody what xmas tunes, xmas albums, xmas song covers or traditional songs they like.

Also, looking for recommendations for Xmas music because every year, I always buy one Christmas Album and this year I am stumped.

Every year on Princeton University radio station WPRB DJ Jon Solomon does a 24-hour show of all holiday music. Here's a link to last year's play list:

(remember that James Brown died on Christmas Day last year so he played Brown's "Funky Christmas" album in its entirety)
and here's the 2005 list for more variety and songs you've probably never heard:

I just heard a song called "Christmas with a Capital 'C'". Pretty good tune.

Always been a fan of "The 12 Pains of Christmas" by Bob Rivers. the dude having problems hanging the lights is me.

And of the traditional song versions, I'm partial to Elvis Presley's "Silent Night" and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas".

Love all the Springsteen holiday tunes. Mellencamp's song is the best cover I have heard thus far (hate that god awful Jessica Simpson's version )

I have to listen to the Slaid Cleaves one. I do like their music.
A tune I have to play every year is Christmas is the Time to Say I Love you by Billy Squier.
Does anybody know if Coldplay only released one xmas tune "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas", or is there others?
