"Holiday Inn" with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. Absolutely one of the best holiday movies ever. I love it and it makes me laugh and cry every time I see it.

All the Bing and Bob "road" movies are priceless, for that matter.

Mira, a tradition in the house was watching Bob Hope's Christmas Specials every year. His special also showcased the best college players in the States.

An absolute classic of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame.

Holiday Affair [the original with Robert Mitchum]
    The Ref

And the greatest Christmas movie ever...Santa Claus [Mexico - 1959] courtesy of K. Gordon Murray.

Yeah...it's Santa vs. Satan! It's one of the most bizarre flicks you will ever see.

That Santa versus Satan flick looks creepy. That Satan looks hideous.

    Good call.

How about Reindeer Games, with Ben Aflleck?

    Alert in particular for Canuckistanis:

    CBC has the following things:

    Santa Clause on Friday night
Polar Express and Rudolph on Sunday night
    Monday has some assorted cartoons.
Tonight is Little Mosque on the Prairie holiday episode, which looks like it is a page from Bollywood movies. and Little Drummer Boy is on before that.

Last night, I saw Robbie the Reindeer. I highly recommend watching it. Too hysterically funny.
Another Robbie is on Friday night.

I remember having high hopes for Reindeer Games. Aside from a few funny moments (Danny Trejo discussing the U.S. economy and proposing a "Christmas 2" comes to mind), that flick was depressing and just downright bad.

I've seen that on MST3K as well. I don't think they released it for purchase.

Speaking of which, how about Santa Claus: The Movie? It's Dudley Moore, it's crap, but my nephew and nieces are still of age to enjoy it.

    1. A Christmas Story (how Darren McGavin didn't win an Academy Award, especially for the Major Award scene, is beyond me).

    2. Christmas Vacation

    3. A Christmas Carol (Alastir Sim ... the man was born to play Scrooge)

    4. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (animated, not Jim Carrey)
