I couldn't wait for the 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story ("Ralphie, you'll shot you eye shot." so I ordered the DVD from Future Shop the other day.

In the spirit of this holiday movie watching season, just wondering what movies you have to see over the holidays?

    My list:

    -A Christmas Story
    -White Christmas
-Miracle on 34th Street (the old traditional version)
-Sound of Music (know it's not Christmas per say but a tradition between myself and some other people)
    -National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
    -Holiday
    -Christmas in Connecticut
-all the cartoonesque ones like Rudolph the RedNosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Yogi's Christmas, Charlie Brown's Christmas, Flinstones Christmas (yeah, I am still a kid at heart ;D)

    So time to share everybody...

I forgot about that one Joe. Thanks for reminding me. Love Jimmy Stewart in that movie.

Love Will Ferrell in Elf. I am going to buy the DVD of it next week.

Christmas Shoes is a nice movie and it was filmed in Nova Scotia. Had Rob Lowe and Kimberly Williams Paisley.

Great call, stormy. That one along with The Grinch (cartoon) and Charlie Brown are the best.

Also, I posted this on the Charlie Brown thread, but will repost here for those interested.
Charlie Brown Christmas is on tonight at 8pm on ABC.

Bishop's Wife is a great movie. Bill Murray was funny in Scrooged. Al Green and Annie Lennox's song "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" was a good soundtrack theme song for the movie.

Love Actually made me sad in parts of the movie. Especially the circumstances surrounding Laura Linney's character in the movie.

Fuck, is it that time of the year again?

Always liked Disney's "One Magic Christmas" with Mary Steenburgen, Harry Dean Stanton and a very young Sarah Polley.
