Boom, I like Chris. He's a good guy and we do have a history. However, he did have an Al Campanis type moment. No doubt about that.

Not sure it's disturbing, he didn't say they don't have the faculties for the job, just said he hasn't gotten a resume/tape from an African American that was worthy of giving them a national show. Weather he's right or wrong, it's his opinion. And since none of us have had access to every tape he's received, it's impossible for us to form a credible opinion on the matter.

Man, if they could just send Berman there I'd know exactly which station to avoid.

And yeah, Russo's MLB Network show is a trainwreck. Proof that MLB Network hates its audience.

If a host makes an offensive remark and nobody hears it does it cause an outrage?

Michele Beadle taking brunt of blame for Smith suspension.

Some of the notes on twitter are brutal:
    http://twitchy.com/2014/07/29/the-gates-on-mouthbreatherville-have-been-breached-michelle-beadle-slammed-following-stephen-a-smiths-suspension/

This is one of the milder ones:

@MichelleDBeadle what goes around comes around. Ur just a pathetic excuse for a human being honestly. To do in a colleague like that!
