    That poorly written piece has more than 1,500 comments. In June. About a running back's nickname. I guess people like them some NFL.

    You must be thinking of a different Deion than the one I've heard.

    Oh, and while I seriously despise Deion Sanders on any number of levels, I will give him his due on the contact issue. On separate plays in the same game in 1996 or thereabouts, I saw Deion stand up Lamont Warren and Zack Crockett on outside runs and stop them in their tracks. And Crockett was a load -- a good 235-240 pounds.

    Deion didn't go out of his way to hit people, but that doesn't mean he couldn't and wouldn't do it at times.
