I hope he's not using the same limo driver Corzine used.

If Christie supports AC there's got to be good eats somewhere. haven't been there in a while but couple buddies went last week and said the Showboat buffet was real good.

Atlantic City: Come for the profound sense of existential dread, stay for the scent of mildewed carpet glue.

One of the absolute bywords of Lardo's regime thus far is his never-ending willingness to provide aid and succor to his Atlantic City casino sugardaddies.

I absolutely wish AC had NFL betting, but the Gov's posture here is Huey Long-level overreaching.

It's going to happen that you'll be able to bet on sports somewhere other than Las Vegas. The states are salivating over all that potential income that doesn't come in the form of new taxes, so we might as well the raids and lawsuits started.

Actually, might as well just legalize it. Pot, too. In a time when budget cuts are the order of the day in just about every state, the revenue-generating potential sports book and marijuana is too great to ignore. It's not like the markets don't already exist; just that the government isn't getting any tax revenue and consumers aren't being adequately protected.

You'd also dismantle huge markets for organized crime, and save a ton of dough in the War on DrugsTM.

I got the Feds laying 1 1/2 Justices.

You think the Catholics are going sit still for this gambling cutting into their bingo and football cards take?

Personally I am fine with sports betting. But I don't see Congress passing a law to legalize it. The conservative, evangelical lobby has the influence to block it.
