Chris Arnold called out for plagiarism

    It appears Scott Kacsmar has been plagiarized...

    I think CBS got wind of this. Arnold's story is no longer on the website.

    To me, if it's the first time someone has done it, you reach out to them privately, give them the chance to apologize and remove the story. I can understand coming out guns blazing like this, too ...

    When plagiarism is that extensive, it absolutely calls for blazing guns.

    Absolutely. The private communique-polite request is the route to go when there are a couple of phrases lifted. But this is so egregious that public humiliation is warranted.

    The next thing, by the way, is for somebody at the station/website/whatever that employs this thief to go back and check everything he has ever written to see if there are previous examples.

    Chris Arnold should in no way be considered a journalist. He has never been one. He's a shill for teams and an "entertainer."
