Love Pinnette. King of the Fat Schtick.

And I've seen him in action at the Riviera buffet.

Golden Corral was just fine the last time I went. Didn't get near the wonderfall ... it seemed like oil with brown food coloring. And I'm a borderline chocoholic.

And I can't unread Bubbler's opening remarks on this thread.

There's something about a good breakfast buffet (made to order omelets are a must) that I really enjoy. Lunch and dinner buffets can be OK at a nicer Vegas joint, but they're still not that great.

Seafood buffets are the best. I'll gobble that stuff up at a decent casino, and it doesn't have to be Vegas.

The Isle of Capri in Biloxi has a pretty good one, or at least it did about 10 years ago.

Anyone ever been to Rafain in Dallas? That was my first trip to a Brazilian steakhouse. Lesson learned: Don't have salad. I had to pass up several dishes because I got full from eating too much salad.

Golden Corral? OK, not awesome, if you can find the right one. When I go home to visit my parents, there's inevitably one trip to GC. It's pretty clean but always crowded. However, I have not been to one since the wonderfall was introduced and if we end up there on my trip home in July, I'm probably not going to be able to look at it without laughing my ass off.

Good day for a tasty Golden Corral update ...

Here’s a video that may spoil your appetite: Footage of raw meat left by a dumpster outside a Golden Corral restaurant in Florida has gone viral on Reddit, The Huffington Post and The Atlantic Wire report.

In the clip, an employee who identifies himself as Brandon Huber takes viewers behind the scenes of the Port Orange location of the buffet chain, and shows flies swarming around trays of uncooked hamburger patties, ribs, pot roast meat, chicken, ham, bacon, plus gravy and green bean casserole sitting out near the dumpster. Huber claimed the restaurant was even undergoing a health department inspection at the time. “I don’t want to cook this food, I don’t feel safe with it,” Huber says in the second part of the video, in which he goes on a rant and calls the management negligent.

    That's awful.
The PR line is BS (of course)...because...who the hell would "throw away" food like that? If you are throwing it away, it would be in the dumpster and not still sitting in pans!
Standing O to the kid that was willing to risk his job to show that. Of course he was probably getting ready to quit or figured this would be a big payday for him if he went public with it.
