  1. The 2008 Dodge Avenger will feature a "chill zone" above the instrument panel that will cool "four 12-ounce beverages."

Great, just what this country needs. Built-in beer coolers in cars. Who's the idiot who came up with this idea?

Couples need that to chill the wine before they climb in the backseat and pop some porn into the DVD player.

It's for chilling soft drinks, of course. Cynics.

    I wonder if it's concealable....

A Montanan, of course. We were the last state to make driving while drinking (but not drunk) illegal, and hell, it's only a $25 fine.

My 2006 Dodge Caliber already has one of those. It holds 8, 12-ounce cans. Suffice to say that on long road trips where there is only one driver, it has been stocked with beer.

Oh, never fear, the driver isn't allowed any beer until we reach the hotel.

    Blatant discrimination.

When are they going to make a car cooler that will hold a 40 oz.?
