Child care and work ...

    Yes, I ended up taking all my vacation time when we brought our babies home...a whole month off (paid albeit), then back to the work cycle...it's tough. But going unpaid isn't really an option. Thankfully, we had just gone to laptops, so I was able to get much done from home during the babies sleeping spurts and was able to stay away from the office. That continues to be a big benefit of my job.

    So what you're saying is that employers (every single one of them) value their female workers more than their male counterparts.
