    for a 2010 Second-Round pick.

This better turn out VERY well for Pioli and Haley, otherwise these two will have a short-lived tenure in KC.

I guess that takes Pettigrew off the top of the Falcons' board.

Why's that. Gonzalez has, what, 2 more good years in him?

I want Chase Coffman a lot more, now.

Jesus Christ, they get TWO players, including their QB, from the Pats for a second-round pick, then turn around and replenish the second-round pick by trading a lesser player? Impressive.

Sorry, but that's a great trade for both sides. Falcons are in win-now mode and Gonzalez represents something better than they would have gotten in the second round, and the Chiefs trade a disgruntled employee for a second-round pick (or what they traded to get Cassel and Vrabel).

The Chiefs need some younger pieces, and they got max value for Gonzalez. Can't complain about that.

I just wish it was an '09 pick :(

Thing is, this is supposed to be one of the weaker classes. McShay said second-round talent will go in the bottom third of the first round, so maybe it's better that the Chiefs get that second round pick in 2010.

That seems awfully high for a player as old as Gonzalez.
