    I think noise ordinances are perfectly fine and defensible, whether it's rap, Dave Matthews or Zamfir being blasted. The pants things...really lame trend. But lots of wrecks passing as fashion trends in the '60s and '70s were not outlawed, so I can't say the pants thing should be legislated.
