While in Michigan last week, Ms. Slappy and I stopped at a cheese shoppe. Actually it was a factory.
And with a 30 dollar purchase (us and friends...), they gave away a cheese form, mold, press, whatever (pics below).
Not passing on a freebie, we took it home. Now, what the hell do we do with it? Could be a tray, could be a bowl... but am open to other options...
It's about 14 inches wide of thin, light wood and five inches deep. The lid has a one-inch lip and the whole thing is like a ladies hatbox (Kids, ask Casty, Moddy or spnited)...

Now that I got it home, what do I do with it?

I had no idea Michigan was known for its cheese....I thought it was Wisconsin? Anyway, does it smell? I would use it for storage, or maybe sell it on ebay?

If you try to make cheese ... this thread will not end well.

From the Paul-Gene and Big Willy songbook:

    Cheese, cheese
    Glamorous cheese.
    I got cheese
    Up to my knees.
    Swiss, cheddar, Colby and butt
I think this cheese is rottin' my gut.
    Ooooohhh, cheese, cheese
    Glamorous cheese ...

    (repeat as necessary)

I got it. I got it.
It appears to be the perfect size so one could hide the ever-funny, shaving cream pie.
Man, does that ever get me going.
