BTW, this is in no way a Title IX issue. Title IX requires the equal opportunity to play. It does not require that the effing atmosphere be duplicated. Pretty soon some Title IX nazi is going to tell fans that if they go to the boys basketball game they have to also go to the girls game.

Except, in fact, it is at Title IX issue.

It's not limited to just playing. I know a school that had to turn off its electronic baseball scoreboard because the softball team didn't have one.

Then it's just another example of courts gone mad. It's complete and utter bullshit.

Fairness can be prickly. That's for sure.

Has nothing to do with courts gone mad.

It's about providing girls with the same accessibility, equipment, services and, most importantly, the same opportunity as boys. It's a little misogynistic to think that's "bullshit".

Yeah, but I cant remember it either. They sit and watch and after the anthem... that's it.

Of course, in this state, most basketball cheerleaders also sit in the stands in full uniform about 1/3 of the way down the court, instead of standing on the baseline or near it and actually, ya know, cheer.

Has everything to do with courts gone mad. Cheerleaders have absolutely nothing to do with accessibility, equipment, services or opportunity. Cheerleaders are on a par with fans and you can't force fans to attend. It's about opportunity to PLAY! Not opportunity to be popular.

    Cadet,

    You don't understand.

The law is no abortions and guns for everyone. The rest is just crap from damn activist judges.

That's just an unfortunate personal choice.
