I just stumbled across this, guess it happened early this month in Goshen, Ohio:
I didn't see a post about it before...If I'm just "catching up" to this, my appolgies for a repost:

November 4, 2007 - A small town is rocked by scandal. This after a racy picture of a Goshen cheerleader and her coach turns up.

Both young ladies are topless, and they have some explaining to do.

The school says one of their cheerleading coaches took the nude picture at a recent party. It circulated through e-mail, and that's when the school asked police to get involved.

It's playoff night at Goshen High School, but both the football team and cheerleaders are each without assistant coaches tonight.

"They have to be the right role models, and that is exactly what we expect from our employees," Goshen Superintendent Charlene Thomas said.

Thomas says the school board today fired 19-year-old assistant coach Andrew Emerson for hosting a party and 19-year-old freshman cheerleader coach Victoria Schattauer for allegedly providing alcohol to a freshman at the party.

The school says Schattauer took the partially nude picture with the freshman.

"This is a little bit early in the investigation, but whatever measures are taken that is appropriate with eligiblity, discipline, that will be taken with our administration," Thomas said.

The cheerleader coach's stepfather tells me he did not know about the incident, but tells me he's very disappointed with his daughter's actions.

The mother of the freshman in the picture told me she had no comment tonight.

Meanwhile, parents with kids in the school are shocked.

"I would hope that parents would talk to their kids; it's not something that should be going around and not something that should be happening at a high school at all," parent Sarah Clift said.

That party apparently happened in Blanchester, so police there would determine whether to pursue any criminal charges.

As far as the school goes, again, both assistant coaches were fired today. That freshman could also be disciplined.

Cheer coach is pretty cute. Why didn't this stuff ever happen when I was in high school?

    May be NSFW.

I know she's only 19 but why would anybody with a brain think this is a good idea?

And why did she e-mail it to other people? And why was the 21-year-old male assistant football coach hosting a party for the cheerleaders?

That's what I always tell myself. This shit has been going on for ages. I just wasn't cool enough to be involved.

That was going to be my first post, because I couldn't figure out why the writer kept saying "tells me." But then I clicked the link and realized it was a TV story and it all made sense.

I was reading some more on this 'coach' and apparently she is extremely trashy, via what some blog said about her myspace page (no link).
And finding that pic online without the ribbon is also too easy ... I'm surprised she's not being charged with child pornography.

At my previous shop, our style was to occasionally use "told us" if the information was exclusive to our publications. Then again, we also used telegraph style...
