I'm covering a college basketball game right now. There's a looser fanboy one row ahead of me wearing the home team's jersey. He's clapping after every play and has ignored my three pleas to stop.

Do I tattle and report him?

A jersey, on press row? Justifiable homicide.

No. Beat him soundly about the head and shoulders with the nearest available blunt instrument.

Sorry, dude. I didn't realize I was being that loud.

And I'll take the jersey off.
