We're not talking about the Colts. We're not talking about other NFL teams. We're talking about the Patriots. They're the ones who got caught.

Get out of my head! :) That's exactly what I was thinking.

As for the previous post, they cheated, they got caught, they got penalized. Game over. Move on.

What leads you to that conclusion? The NFL seems to want to put this behind them, not reignite it to an unprecedented level.

  7. So Matt Walsh said he had a video of the Rams' Super Bowl walkthrough, couldn't produce it, and yet he's still taken seriously as a source. Bunch of Woodwards and Bernsteins in here.

His lawyer says Walsh never claimed to be the Herald's source, which would mean it's someone else who has the tape and has yet to come forward.

No one ever said they had a tape. It certainly didn't say that in the Herald story.

Repeated for emphasis. There is plenty of misinformation with this whole saga, though that may be the biggest. Not only did Walsh never said he had the tape, no one ever said they had the tape. An unnamed source said the practice was taped, though what happened to the tape and who ordered the taping was unknown.

The one thing the Pats did that was different from every other NFL team: Got caught.

Either that or break the rules. I don't think 31 other teams broke the rules and got away with it.
