Chas Pierce on Homegrown Terrorism

Pierce would be a consistently much better read, in my humble opinion, if a good editor chopped off some of the soliloquies at the beginnings of pieces and subsections of pieces.

I don't know ... he's a good writer. I read "Sports Guy" and I read "Idiot America" and enjoyed both, for the most part. I love his knowledge of history. It's remarkable. Sometimes I don't buy the dots he connects, though. I think he reaches because he's a committed idealogue.
