    If he were willing to do that Green Bay would have kept him.

    He might be willing to do it elsewhere. He only had a year left on his deal, right? You can't renegotiate a deal if it only has a year left. Maybe Packers had no interest in signing him to even a two-year extension.

    His legacy in Green Bay is hard to quantify but during the 2010 SB run, having a veteran like Woodson mixed in with that young roster helped immensely.

    I don't think its hard to quantify at all. One of the best free agent signings the Packers have made short of Reggie White. He was a stone cold steal.

    Yep. And to think he had a hard time finding takers when he was a free agent.

    Partially, of course, because Crazy Old Al and his henchmen made sure everyone knew what a bad and irresponsible guy Woodson was.

    He donated $2 million to a children's hospital which gives off the appearance that he has managed his money but he wouldn't be the first to donate and end up broke.
