Seedings were a little off, but the best sketch won.

  2. I don't know. ...
Rick James is my favorite. Easily.

I agree, but his reasoning makes sense to me. Clayton Bixby might have been the most IMPORTANT Chappelle sketch.

    Also, darkness-ES! Darkness-ES!

The Clayton Bigsby sketch is like that team with the absolutely dominant 7-foot center guaranteed to be the top overall pick in June.

Versatile's Chappelle's Show sketch power rankings:

    1. Mad Real World
    2. Black White Supremacist
    3. Tyrone Biggums on Fear Factor
    4. Playa Haters' Ball
    5. Racial Draft
    6. Wayne Brady's Show
    7. Tyrone Biggums teaches
    8. The Niggar Family
    9. World Series of Dice
    10. True Hollywood Stories: Prince
    11. Reparations Day
    12. True Hollywood Stories: Rick James
    13. Making the Band

The fact that Mad Real World in the Grantland bracket met such an early demise is complete horse malarkey. So is the fact that Rick James didn't make the championship bout. Those are 1a and 1b in my opinion. Followed closely by Clayton Bigsby and Prince.

"Correction: I had sex with Katie."

What has Charlie Murphy done outside Chappelle's Show? He was consistently great in everything.

I didn't see that. I take back a few of my complaints.

I think my biggest complaint about Rick James was the fact that so many people destroyed the lines from that worse through chronic overuse. I am sure I loved it the first time I saw it, but "I'm Rick James, bitch" and "What did the five fingers say to the face? 'Slap!' " spread like wildfire and made me lose some interest in an otherwise excellent sketch.

Mad Real World is probably the most I ever laughed watching that show...

    So many great ones...

The impressive thing about Mad Real World is how small Dave Chappelle's acting role was. If I recall correctly, he said in the commentary that he liked that he wasn't in some of the key scenes because he could help direct more. Charlie Murphy (Tyree) and Donnell Rawlings (Faze 2) hit home runs in the sketch, but it's also great how well the non-regulars play their parts, particularly Lysol and Chad's Dad.

Black White Supremacist is Georgetown in the mid-1980s, with Chappelle as Patrick Ewing. Mad Real World is Florida in 2006 and 2007, getting contributions from everyone with Chappelle as Billy Donovan.
