Chappelle shatters comedy club endurance record

    So this is what comedy has come to? A glorified dance marathon?

    I don't want to listen to anyone tell jokes for that long, and I like Chappelle.

    Would everything these two comedians say be defined as a joke? Maybe, as soon as no one in the audience laughs, they should be done. Record attempt over. If it's just talking for seven hours, Carrot Top could go up there.

    More than 12 hours of talking between them and very little of it funny.

    If a comedian took a copy of "War and Peace" on stage and read it from cover to cover, would it be considered a record?

    Kaufman on SNL in the '70s was unreal.
