CFB's overtime rules are ridiculous

    That still doesn't help if one team wins the toss, receives and drives down the field for a TD. The other team's offense still didn't get a chance in OT.

    If you give up a full-length TD, I have less than zero sympathy for you.

    Game over, without a single misgiving.
     
  3. Awesome post! Pretty much what I'd like to see. Very good, Faithless. I think this might work in the NFL, too. Each team should get at least one shot. I wouldn't even mind the teams each getting two possessions if they didn't score on their first possessions.

    I don't like how college OT takes out two key elements: punts/kickoffs and the clock. I watched the UT/Ky. game, and I didn't agree that the face-mask penalty on the return of the blocked field goal wasn't enforced. If OT would have been played under regulation-type rules, that wouldn't have happened.
