I'll hand it to Glennon. He didn't screw it up. Then again, it was kinda hard for him to screw it up when he's handing off to Darren Evans all night. And Greg Boone is an effing beast!

Meanwhile, on the eve of Armageddon, LSU fans are tracking the charter flight of Alabama and Nick Saban to Baton Rouge:

Flight will land at the same airport where Nick got on Wayne Huizenga's big jet to have a look around on Christmas Eve 2004. You know what happened the next day. LSU flew to Orlando for the Capital One Bowl. Nick went to a presser a little farther south to be named Miami Dolphins coach.

This may be another Earthquake Game.

Seems like 2 weeks ago that Texas and Texas Tech played.

Looking forward to tomorrow's game against Okie State. I'm thinking 59-49.

Just in time, the story lines:
--Ohio State will eke past Northwestern
--For Kansas at Nebraska, take the over
--Oklahoma will beat Texas A&M by at least four touchdowns
--Penn State will beat Iowa by at least three touchdowns
--LSU will beat Alabama by fewer than seven points
--Texas Tech will beat Oklahoma State by at least 17 points
--Southern Cal beats Cal by at least 24 points

    Oh, and one more:
--Missouri will beat Kansas State by at least 22 points, meaning avatar redecoration for someone.

Way, way too high, man. Defense is the main reason by TT and Okie State are in the top 10. You saw what Tech's defense can do, especially against KU and Texas. Okie State held both Mizzou and Texas to less than 30... on the road.

    I'll take Tech 35-31.

I hope Bama is more focused than the production truck was for Gameday. Mistakes galore.

Ohio State will bash Northwestern (already 7-0)
Kansas v. Nebraska over will be 85 or more.
    Okie in a romp.
Penn State and Iowa will be a good game, won by Penn State by shutting out Iowa in the 2nd half for a 24-7 win.
    Alabama.
Texas Tech 59, Okie State 49
    USC wins by 38.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers welcome the slap family to the Dome and Gold Out 2008!

    Enjoy the game!

Kafka has run the ball 9 straight times for Northwestern.

10 straight times on this drive, right up to the goal line ...

on his 11th straight run of the drive, Kafka barrels over left tackle and rolls into the end zone, 7-7.

Edit: he had a short 1st-down pass on the 5th play of the 13-play drive.

    It was a Tebow-esque effort.

Northwestern's got two damn good QBs. Penn State seriously lucked out in not having them or Minnesota this year.

And Pryor is a very accurate passer.
