Interesting, telling (sad?) that the "used to" is currently the biggest number.

It's still early in the poll, but is it really surprising? The last few years have completely bulldozed this industry.

"Currently" is on top now 24-17.

Best quote on the subject came from Mike Lopresti last year at the Indiana Sportswriters & Sportscasters Hall of Fame induction:

I'm paraphrasing, but it went something like "30 years ago, we were asking each other 'do you use computers?' 20 years ago, we were all asking each other 'do you paginate?' Now, we are all asking each other 'do you have a job?'"

I daresay that when Mike Lopresti finds himself out of a job, they should just shut the whole industry down. Guy's only the best sports columnist working, and has been for as long as I've been in the business (26 years).

I think all the wise ones are getting out while the getting's (halfway) good. Can't blame them.

Catagory Five is 'way down from where it was when the politics board was open 24/7 and the righty wingnuts were here stirring shit and trolling for converts with simpleton arguments.
  10. Trying to pump up the current numbers.

I'm a former SE turned freelance broadcaster. I love it.

I don't see the option for currently working as a scrapbooker.
