Cut Carlton some slack. There are many different ways to commit suicide. Travelling to some notorious anti-government hospot backwoods locale like Clay County, Ky, stripping naked, scrawling the word Fed across your chest, gagging yourself with a rag, binding your eyes and all limbs with duct tape, and then hanging yourself from a tree is just one of them. Still a possibility.

 

He wanted to make sure it looked like murder for insurance purposes.
