17 years of marriage and HER kidney later, George Lopez is divorcing his wife Ann.

I wonder if the kidney will hurt every time he's with a new conquest.

There are a few celebrity splits that make me sad. This is one of them and not because I'm a fan of Lopez, because I think he's dreadfully unfunny. Although he does garner points for his feud with Carlos Mencia.

The story about getting a kidney from his wife was a great one. What a douchebag for leaving her.

 

Perhaps the most unfunny "comic" out there, in my opinion. Can't stand that guy.

 

I don't see where in the story it said that he was dumping her. On what basis are you making these judgments?

I'll save them for after I've been a comic for however long Lopez has been one and when I've experienced everything in life he has. Then, I'll have the right to criticize him, right?

The final sentence of the story tells you the split's largely his doing.

Man, George Lopez. There is no time I ever change the channel faster when the last Office or Family Guy re-run ends and his show comes on. Torture would be hiding the remote from me.

 

You mean the five-year-old quote from Ann? That's what tells you he split with her five years later?

And, whether he split with her or vice versa, I think its safe to say George (+fame, +money) is going to end up with a young hottie.
