He was Angel on "The Rockford Files." :)

Exactly right - with Harold Gould as Howard Cunningham. :D

I believe his name was permantly sealed into my brain for his work on the Rockford Files.

Is he dead? Otherwise we might have to move him to another thread.

He is alive, but I did learn via Teh Wiki and IMDB why he was on "Love, American Style" - his brother Arnold Margolin was an executive producer, writer and director of the show (and also co-wrote the so-cheesy-it-could-only-have-come-from-Hollywood-in-the-late-60s theme song).

I guess career death should qualify for a celebrity thread.

Stuart Margolin was great on The Rockford Files.

Vinnie Vecchione, the guy who stepped into the ring to stop the Mike Tyson/Peter McNeeley fight, died of a heart attack on Thursday.

Don't be hating on theme song to "Love, American Style".

I burned a CD of TV theme songs a while back, and Love, along with The Streets of San Francisco.

    Yes, I'm a loser and a geek.

This thread is great. Now, instead of a headline telling us someone died, we get to check the thread to see if there is or isn't a new death. Fun! The suspense might kill me.

And in the meantime we can act like hearse drivers sitting around waiting for the next call
