Mel Brooks wasn't a regular member of the cast. Irene Cara, a member of the Short Circus, won an Oscar as a co-writer of "What a Feeling."

Sorry, Dan. According to IMDB, Brooks is listed for 780 eps, Cara for 130.

So that's four Oscar winners, two of whom won for non-acting roles, as Brooks won for best original screenplay for "The Producers."

Brooks was never on screen. That would be like saying Steven Colbert and Steve Carrell were in the cast of Saturday Night Live because the voiced the Ambiguously Gay Duo.
