CBS SportsLine photo/graphics editor

    Position: Photo/Graphics Editor based at CBS SportsLine.com in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

    Education Requirements:
    - Four-year degree

    Experience requirements
    - Proficient using Photoshop
    - Proficient at flash, graphics
    - Online work with HTML and web content management preferred
    - Editing and/or writing experience preferred
    - Photo Editor at online/newspaper sports newsroom preferred

    Role & responsibilities:
    - Creation, editing and perfecting of most prominent images on the website. Photos, photo montages, graphics with/without photos, Flash elements, etc.
    - Conceptualize, execute images to go with special editorial projects
    - Involvement in daily and long-range editorial plans
    - Teaching editors how to better photo edit
    - Working with wireless editor for images used in wireless alerts
    - Some copy editing, headline/cutline writing for website
    - Spec out/storyboard special editorial projects and/or work with technology to see projects through to completion.

    We're looking to upgrade our use of photos and graphics, and this person will take the department lead in that regard. Could be a fun job.
