CBS & Fox developing arranged-marriage reality shows

    No, really. Two strangers, vetted by each others' friends and family but never having met, get married.

    I'm not particularly religious, but I believe there is a special level of hell for the ad wizards who came up with this one.

    No, you might be thinking of the "Joe Millionaire" show where they hired an actor to play a rich dude and do a "Bachelor" type show, selecting a bride from among the gold diggers.

    Sanctity of marriage, indeed.
     
  9. In some fairness, arranged marriages have been happening for years ... doing it as a reality show is low class, but still.
