I think he did. He had the purse lady dead to rights, and didn't pull the trigger.

Am I the only one who isn't surprised this happened in Florida.

    Carl Hiassen was right. :D

Glad the innocent people are OK and the guilty person is not.

How about the woman who crept up from behind and tried to smack the gun away? (Major cojones) You would figure a couple of the other guys would have jumped in at that point. Good thing no one else was injured.

FOX Frantic Fascist Noise would have been proud of the CNN packaging, with the ransom-note typography in the background and the hushed-and-yet-still-frantic heavy-breathing commentary.

All that was missing was a big-boobed blonde bimbo anchorslut batting her big baby blues at the camera snootily wondering if this is what this countree is coming to.

And the answer is, yes, it is.

    Couple thought:

    1. Some brave people on the school board. The folks there should be proud.

    2. I don't think the guy really wanted to shoot anyone. His actions and body language showed otherwise.

    3. This is why folks are scared of some Tea Party types, at the end he's arguing over friggin school taxes. That worth killing or dying over?

You're forgetting the Fox tag line:

"A Continuing epidemic: violence at our public schools"

Yes, because never in recorded American history had anyone ever engaged in violent behavior in response to the tax code before the Tea Party was founded...

Actually, he was on the OTHER SIDE of the debate from the teabaggers. (Which of course is being pointed out at air-raid-siren volume on right-wing screech radio as we speak.)

He wasn't pissed at the taxes, he was pissed that the school board members had run for office on a "all-taxes-are-bad-so-we're-going-to-chop-everything" platform, then after they won, they went ahead and did it, and apparently the dude's wife's job was among the cuts.

One thing's for sure: this guy took pop culture way too seriously.

I see where you are going. You think guns should be taken away from citizens. That just might work!
