Cats or dogs?

    You are lucky it didn't try to bite you in a sensitive area. I'm told some protective dogs who get a peek see it as an act of aggression toward the owner and they can get rather protective.

    You are still a brave man. Dog owner screams, dog isn't going to sit there and ask, "Is that pleasure or pain?" Chomp first, ask later.

    Nothing against cats but dogs by a landslide.

    We had a minor accident in the house that ended up with 2 kids crying. The family dog was up in the room keeping vigil until the last kid stopped crying.

    I have never heard of a cat doing that.

    I can't take a cat hiking and, even if I could, I wouldn't be confident that any wildlife upon which we may happen would be scared away by his barks and snarls.
