Cats and dogs or.... good heavens, what have I done!?

It is way too early in the morning for this.

Normally my dog curls up by my feet in the morning while I drink coffee and read e-mails.

Oh no. Not this morning. The dog is all wound up - following the kitten around and doing that doggy pant thing while the kitty is strutting around here like she's Queen of the Realm.

She just now made an attempt to bat at a cord on my computer - thankfully my football player saw that and stopped her.

I'm going to have to leave for work for some peace and quiet.

Cat will be alpha pet. Order will be restored in the universe.

this could be a good thing

Here's the furball, she's about six weeks old.

The dog has started to warm up to her, she loves attacking the dog's tail. Tomorrow they will be home by themselves for about four hours or so (tomorrow I have a really weird schedule - work four hours in the morning, then work tomorrow night.)

    Cats rool!

Seriously, that looks like a winner.

My one piece of advice is to get a Furminator -- http://www.furminator.com/

Using one of those often will keep shedding to a minimum.

K, I'm not thinking she's so cute so far this morning.

I have a story for today's paper I need to have done in two hours max.

Furball is wide awake and getting into EVERYTHING - including attempting to chew on the cord for my computer.

This is not going to end well.

It's been nearly a week now and I don't know if I should be happy or scared by what happened today....

Happy, Rosie. That photo appears to show that the territorial battles are over.

If only people could be as mature sometimes ...
