I like Aikman as a color man. Doesn't talk too much, or maybe he talks a lot but consistently provides some insight. So many of these guys are terrible these days.

As for Aikman being "wildly overrated" . . . . . I was always a big fan of his as a player. And it takes a lot more than pretty numbers to rate a quality QB, especially one with a dominant, Hall of Fame RB behind him. But here ya go:

Aikman lost me when he claimed that Boomer was a Cardinal and that was the reason that he did it. Boomer hated his time in Arizona

i'd lean that way, too. seems he is many times an anti-homer when it comes to the cowboys.

Agreed. I think he tries very hard not to be a homer when he broadcasts Cowboys games, so I don't know what Boomer thinks he heard.

Half of everything Aikman says begins with one of these two phrases:

    "You're exactly right, Joe. ...."

    "I don't know that ....."

You're exactly right, Joe. DisembodiedOwlHead is a hater. :)

Aikman can't remember yesterday. Much less what team(s) Boomer played for.

    Jackpot.

But he's still better than Boomer. At everything.

Boomer is still 2,367,081,951 times better than Marino.

Does Aikman refer to Jerry Jones as Mr. Jones? I think Michael Irvin used to do that?

Yeah, quarterbacking seven Super Bowl champions. What a couple of overrated nobodies. A blind squirrel could have done that shit. ::)
