cat is a jarhead

    My favorite was a stroy from about seven years ago where a dog in some rinky-dink town in Alabama got a pickled pig's feet jar stuck on it's head. Apparently it was wandering around the town for days before someone finally grabbed it and go the jar off.

    I was doing a college radio show at the time and New You Cannot Use was one of our features. So I read off that story and we made it a trivia contest -- whoever could guess in what state that happened won some concert tickets.

    Best contest we ever ran. Our lines were jammed and it took about 12 guesses before someone came up with 'Bama. I thought that would have been the first guess!
