    Is there really any difference?

There are no actual consequences to either.

Only in Washington D.C. could the difference in verbs -- but no difference in actions/consequences -- matter.

    Admonishment costs nothing.

Censure costs you your committee chairs.

Wasn't he the first censured since 1983?

Biggest congressional douchebag in 27 years? That's one hell of an accomplishment.

Again, an only in D.C. punishment.

Do you think that resonates anywhere else in America - let alone in Charlie's district?

Oh, and the recent election stripped the Chairmanship of the committee away from any Dem, so moot point.

If you already knew the answer why did you ask?

After 3 hours of no one posting an answer I went and looked it up myself.

Try Google next time- you could have had the answer in 5 seconds.

Let me ask you a question - what do you think should happen with Rangel ?

Congress is doing to Mr. Rangel what Congress can and should do to Mr. Rangel.

If there are criminal charges to be leveled, level them. Indict him. Try him. Make him restore what he took and right those he wronged.

  9. Being realistic - Rangel is an old man and if he dies in the next 2 years it will be spun as Republicans killed him.

Pretty much the Delay path - who now faces 2 - 20yrs for money laundering.

I'm pretty sure Delay's sentencing is next week. Is there mandatory jail time or could he skate on probation? And then there's the appeals process.... Justice Delayed.

Yeah. Backlash. The RNC probably shouldn't have let Delay go on "Dancing With The Stars."
