It's on up here north of the border.

Man, Bogart is one hell of an actor. He's so good it doesn't look, sound or seem like he's acting.

This movie is a favourite of mine.

One of my favorite movies ever. Just simply fantastic.

It's the one movie that's guaranteed to make me feel better, no matter how despairing I might be.

One of the five best of all-time.

  5. Whenever I watch it I can't help but thinking about a Gilbert Gottfried appearance on Letterman in the 80s where he impersonated Ralph Kramden as Rick: "You're getting on that plane all right." It was during the same appearance that he impersonated Elmer Fudd as Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now." The howwow.

Classic movie alert: "The Searchers" (quite possibly the greatest western ever made) is on Encore Western right now!

    "Rick, what's your religion?"
    "I'm a drunkard."
One of about 93 great lines in about as many minutes.

    The Searchers is breathtaking.

    Love Casablanca, too.

If life hits me just right, I still get chills during the dueling songs at Rick's...

  10. Casablanca is good. Very good.
My favorite Bogart movie is easily, E-A-S-I-L-Y Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Awesome movie.

"Badges?! We don't need no stinking badges!"

African Queen is a good third.

I'd swap Caine Mutiny for African Queen. Katherine Hepburn is unwatchable to me.
