Casablanca

It's on up here north of the border.

Man, Bogart is one hell of an actor. He's so good it doesn't look, sound or seem like he's acting.

This movie is a favourite of mine.

 

It's the one movie that's guaranteed to make me feel better, no matter how despairing I might be.

 

One of the five best of all-time.

 

Whenever I watch it I can't help but thinking about a Gilbert Gottfried appearance on Letterman in the 80s where he impersonated Ralph Kramden as Rick: "You're getting on that plane all right." It was during the same appearance that he impersonated Elmer Fudd as Kurtz in "Apocalypse Now." The howwow.

Classic movie alert: "The Searchers" (quite possibly the greatest western ever made) is on Encore Western right now!

If life hits me just right, I still get chills during the dueling songs at Rick's...

 

Casablanca is good. Very good.
My favorite Bogart movie is easily, E-A-S-I-L-Y Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Awesome movie.

"Badges?! We don't need no stinking badges!"

African Queen is a good third.

 

I'd swap Caine Mutiny for African Queen. Katherine Hepburn is unwatchable to me.
