    She was on last night plugging a book. Hadn't seen her anywhere in ages, so I didn't realize she's come out as a lesbian.

    She was at least the partial inspiration for the Elaine Benes character on "Seinfeld." She wrote a few of the episodes in the later years and appeared in at least one.
