this could be a parody or satire without changing a word, only the by-line

Winning big is the best way, and he had a better chance of winning big in Denver.

If Carmelo were a true bidness man of today he would know that almost
all companies have a no smoking policy. This is especially true in NYC where
it is against the law to smoke in an office building.

I wonder if he claimed "non smoker" on his medical and life insurance
    policies.

Even though Carmelo is hurt and likely to shut it down for the rest of the season he is going to play in
All Star game Sunday because "the fans deserve to see him play".

Knick fans have seen enough and are happy to see him sit.

It's awesome, too, that Carmelo is the only one in that group without a ring. Even Darko has bragging rights on him.

Is it wrong that I hope he pulls a Kevin Ware? Does that make me a bad person?

Just out of curiosity, why all the hatred on Carmelo?

62 points and zero assists is one of the greatest stat lines of all time.

I could definitely accept the argument that he doesn't make his teammates better. For his career he averages 3.1 assists per game. Not great for a guy who has the ball a lot, but not horrible for a non-point guard, either.

I'm not claiming to be a fan at all. Just seems to me that there's a lot of hatred for a guy who has never been in any trouble or embarrassed himself off the court.
