    RIP to a talented pitcher, who was stuck pitching for some really bad Mets teams.
     
  3. Agreed. Willey was a talented young pitcher whose career was ended prematurely by an injury, like Herb Score. Roger Craig once told me you have to be a good pitcher to lose that many games, otherwise they would stop giving you the ball.
