Too bad because probably the tastiest hamburger I've ever had was the rectangle burger with homemade relish that they serve at the Olympic Club at their on the course grills.

I think it's fair to say it got some buzz and had a good start for KFC. No way is it a sustained success though.

Maybe, but like you said, it got some buzz and that's a pretty big accomplishment for a chain that's been down for some time.

I had the grilled Double Down. Way too greasy to eat with the hands

Grilled Double Down? That's worse than drinking non-alcoholic beer. :D

The fried chicken was the best thing they had going. I remember my grandparents would stop and get chicken after church just about every Sunday when I was younger.

Hardee's is the best fast-food burger you can find.

I see where Hardee's is boasting about their new "hand-breaded chicken tenders". They cost like $6 for an order of 3-4, so they better be pretty good. If they took their fried chicken recipe and just applied it to the tenders, it may be worth it.

I'm also intrigued by their loaded biscuits and gravy. Big-ass biscuits with sausage patties, scrambled eggs and covered in sausage gravy.
